Anxiety is the most common emotional problem in children and research shows that therapy, coupled with a strong network of support, can greatly improve overall mental health. Our summer camp creates a safe environment for children to play, process feelings, and creatively express emotions while learning techniques to manage feelings. Weekly parent consult sessions further expand each child's network of support by providing knowledge and support for each parent.
Creative Coping Skills Summer Camp is a therapeautic summer camp for children ages 7-10 years old. Children will learn creative ways of building self-confidence and managing big feelings during each day and and will have the opportunity to practice these skills through peer interaction. Summer camp will be held in our offices located on Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne, Florida.
Each day will include yoga and playful movement sessions, lunch and snack times, and therapeutic group sessions.
